Minor bantam Terriers ranked among best in Province
The Rama First Nation Orillia Terriers minor bantam squad has reached the top of the provincial hockey rankings in the past 10 games, according to My Hockey Rankings, and is ranked sixth in Ontario over the entire season.

The Terriers started their season by winning both the Richmond Hill Early Bird Tournament and the Columbus Day Clash Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pa., as well as finishing as finalists in the annual Orillia Jim Wilson Tournament. They followed that up by capturing the Regional Silver Stick Tournament in Owen Sound before placing second at the International Silver Stick. The Orillia skaters finished first in the York Simcoe Hockey League and last week swept their first-round Ontario Minor Hockey Association playoff series with three straight shutout wins over the Nobleking Knights. In the past 10 games, the team has a 9-1 record and a 42-14 goals-for/against ratio. Team members include Logan Matthews, Nick Raseta, Devon Read, Carson Keddy, Owen Downer, Tyler Gysbers, Jacob Dewey, Jared Dewey, Ethan Sleep, Jordan Burnett, Gray Sleep-Carnahan, Scott Adams, Chris Brown, Colten MacDonald, Brody Tracey, Connor White and Zac Bell. The coaching staff consists of Corey Tracey, Ryan Dewey, Kevin Matthews, Keri Gysbers and Darlene Keddy.
