The Orillia Kelsey’s Major Midget Terriers Undefeated at Columbus Day Clash Tournament
The Orillia Kelsey’s Major Midget Terriers were undefeated at the Columbus Day Clash Tournament held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The Orillia Terriers represented their city and their country very well against all of the American teams participating in this tournament. In game one, they played the Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles NTB and won 3-1.  Next, they beat the Southern Maryland Sabres 6-1.  In game three, they won 9-0 against the Carolina Lightning.   The Orillia Terriers, with their 3-0 standing, made their way to the championship game, along with the Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles NTB.  The Orillia Terriers were solid in their play and skated to a 6-0 Championship win.   

The entire squad contributed to the team’s success in the tournament.  Goals and assists earned in this tournament include: Harold Hunter (3G, 1A), Zane Morris (3G, 4A), George Miller (5G, 2A), Matt Hunter (2A), Tanner Sleep (1A), Nicolas Frolick (3A), Tye Carnahan (4A), Riley Villeneuve (1A), Shane Carroll (3G, 1A), Colin Simcoe (1G), Beau Benham (2G, 2A), Stephen Bell (2G, 3A), Curtis Anderson (1A), Michael Greco (2A), Taylor Fischer (3G, 3A), Anthony Tulipano (2G, 2A).  Net-minding duties were shared by goaltenders Mitchell Goode and Andrew North with each picking up 2 wins and a shutout.
