Orillia Terriers Major Peewee A lite it up early and often
The Mid Ontario Disposal Major Peewee A Orillia Terriers came away with two wins over the weekend and in the process, outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 13-5.
In the first game, the Terriers dominated the visiting East Gwillimbery Eagles and walked away with an 8-2 victory. Leading the charge was Will Mullen with 2 goals and 2 assists while also hitting the scoresheet were Meguire Naughton (2g), Cole Rasmussen (1g), Devin Baxter (1g), Carson Bussieres (1g), Jesse Ashkewe (1g), Owen Vandusen (3a), Isabela Fleguel (2a), Nolan MacNeal (1a), and Aiden Colebrook (1a). In the next match, the Terriers faced the Aurora Tigers and skated to a 5-3 victory. Vandusen lead the way with a strong performance, notching 2 goals and an assist. Also having a three point performance was Naughton (1g, 2a) followed by Mullen (1g, 1a), Baxter (1g), and MacNeal (1a). This was a great warm-up for the Terriers as they enter the Jim Wilson Tournament this coming weekend.
