The Mid Ontario Disposal Major Peewee A Orillia Terriers finished their regular season taking 4 of a possible 6 points to finish 4th in York Simcoe League.
Starting off the weekend, the Terriers faced the Newmarket Redmen and skated away with a tough-fought 1-0 victory on the strength of Carson Bussieres’ Goal (assisted by Jack Marwick and Cole Rasmussen) and a shut-out performance by goaltender Teddy McCollum-Kuntz. The Terriers then hosted the Richmond Hill Stars and continued their winning ways with a 6-1 win over the visiting Stars. Hitting the scoresheet were Owen Vandusen (1g, 3a), Rasmussen (1g, 3a), Meguire Naughton (2g, 1a), Bradley Adams (1g), Jesse Ashkewe (1g, 1a), Marwick (2a), Will Mullen (1a) and Nolan MacNeal (1a). Rounding out the regular season, the Terriers fell to the Barrie Colts, 2-3 but earned enough points over the course of the season to advance to the OMHA playoffs. Scoring for the Terriers against the Colts were Naughton and Vandusen, assisted by Liam McDonald and Rasmussen.
