Mid Ontario Disposal Major Peewee A Terriers - against the wall in playoffs
The Mid Ontario Disposal Major Peewee A Orillia Terriers are facing elimination in their playoff round against the Aurora Tigers.

The Terriers trail in the series 2 games to 1 and need to pull out a victory this week in order to stave off elimination. In the first game of the series, the Terriers pulled out a hard fought victory with some last minute heroics. Overcoming a 2-1 deficit (Aiden Colebrook scoring for the Terriers assisted by Owen Vandusen and Kooper Tucci), Meguire Naughton scored with .8 seconds left in regulation time (assisted by Jesse Ashkewe), sending the game into overtime with the game knotted at 2. In the extra frame, Vandusen started the play, passing the puck to Naughton who went deep into the Aurora zone and passed the puck into the slot. Will Mullen directed the puck towards the opposition net. The puck crossed the line to give the Terriers the series lead. That lead would not last though as Aurora took the next two games by scores of 3-1 and 4-2 respectively. In those matches, the Terriers received scoring from Vandusen (2), and Naughton with assists to Mullen, Ashkewe and Liam McDonald. The Terriers know they need to dig deep and shoot from every angle while playing a strong defensive game. Let’s go Terriers!
