Last week the Jim Wilson Peewee AE Terriers concluded their York Simcoe playoff run with a 3-0 victory over the Georgina Blaze. In most cases a victory in the last game of a playoff round would mean advancing to the next round, however in the three team round robin it would only be good for second place and an end to their playoff hopes.

Unfortunately a late goal by the Red Wings in the third period of their second game would turn out to be the difference. With the Terriers holding a narrow 3-2 lead with just over a minute to play Schomberg would tie the game 3-3 giving each team a point. After the Red Wings won a narrow 4-3 victory in game 1, the Terriers needed the win in Game 2.

Colby Small (2.03 gaa) and Lucas MacKey (2.18 gaa, one shutout) shared the goaltending duties for the Terriers.
The Terriers will now look ahead to the Lincoln 10th Annual Memorial AE Tournament (April 1-3) to close out their season.
