2025-26 Registration will close on September 15, 2025 at midnight or sooner if program is full.
A late fee will apply to all registrations after September 15th, 2025.
Orillia Minor Hockey 2025-2026 Rep Player Evaluation Policy and Process

>>Release of players will take place after the second ice time for "A" team Evaluations.
Those released will automatically be registered for the appropriate "B" team for their age group
(U10 & U11 = U11B, U12 & U13 - U13B, U14 & U15 = U15B, U16 & U18 = U18B - which will be held in the fall)
>>Out-of-town Players (Previously known as "NRP") are now defined as those players/families previously registered to another non-feeder association or living outside the previously defined borders of OrilliaMHA.
>>Out-of-town Players refusing a letter of commitment will be disqualified from the remainder of the OrilliaMHA evaluations (All Levels)
>>Players released from other organizations evaluations may register and join the next level OrilliaMHA evaluations provided the evaluations have not already begun. Registration must be completed by the deadline.
>>Out-of-town Players released from any OrilliaMHA evaluation are automatically registered to attend the next OrilliaMHA level Evaluation.
>>Non-Resident Players that were active on a OrilliaMHA roster during the 2024-25 season will be grandfathered into OrilliaMHA and not considered to be Out-of-town Players.

Out-of-town player limits are as follows:
o U13 and below Representative teams (both A and B Teams) = 3 Out-of-town Players/Team
o U14 and above Representative teams (both A and B Teams) = 4 Out-of-town Player/Team
The following is the cost breakdown of the 2025-26 season.
Please be aware that we will have some days and weekends where Orillia Minor Hockey has not been
given ice by the city due to other events taking place in the arena.
Tryout Fee - $125
Mytes (2019-2021) – $600
U7HL (2019-2020) - $750
U9HL (2017-2018) - $800
U11HL (2015-2016) - $835
U13HL (2013-2014) - $835
U15HL (2011-2012) - $835
U18/21HL (2006-2009) - $600
There is an option to pay this season’s registration fee in 4 monthly installments. You will still have the ability to pay the full fee upfront if you wish. The accepted payment method is online by credit card
We always appreciate and welcome those willing to volunteer their time to be a coach or a trainer for our House League Teams. Anyone hoping to coach or help out as bench staff must also complete the Respect in Sport course for Activity Leaders, the Gender Identity and Expression course and have a current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) OHF VSC. Mike Dodd Foundation Funding Application
If the player is a first time registrant one parent/guardian from the home must take
the Respect in Sport Parent Course online (click here)> Respect in Sport Parent
***Failure to complete this course prior to registering the player
will have the registration removed from the system until the course is complete.
Refund Policy- A request for a refund of a portion of the registration fee for a person who ceases to play Orillia Minor Hockey prior to the end of the calendar year due to medical reasons or relocation may be submitted in writing to the Administrative Assistant. A $50.00 Administration fee will be applied against all refunds.(Serious Injury / Health problem, Family moving to another community, Program cancelation, Ineligibility). No refund will be given to a player who quits for any other reason.
Basic Hockey Equipment- Helmet, Shield/cage, Mouth guard, approved neck Protector, Shoulder pads, Elbow pads, Gloves, Jock, Pants, Shin Pads, Socks, Skates, and a hockey stick. Players will be supplied a game jersey but will need to bring their own practice jersey. It is important to come to the facility dressed. Benches will be provided to put skates on.
