TO THE 2025/2026 ORILLIA MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION SEASON – U9
MD
For the
upcoming season, please refer to the U9 MD Tryout Process posted on our website
under policy tab on our website.
Some
modifications have been made to conform to the new OMHA changes for upcoming
season.
THINGS
YOU NEED TO KNOW:
1.Outside of Orillia MHA draw area limits are as follows:
- U9 MD will allow 3 outside of Orillia MHA draw area players per team
- Orillia MHA map will be at registration desk and posted at the
arena to determine out of town player residency.
2.
Orillia MHA has contracted qualified instructors for all on ice evaluations
sessions and they will be responsible for all instructors /helpers and
trainers for all sessions.
3.Tryout jerseys will be provided to all participants at the
first skate which each participant will be responsible to wear at all sessions
they attend.
4.Registration is now open and closes on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at midnight. Registration Link
5.This
group has been assigned a board member to co-ordinate the independent
evaluators and assist you with your tryouts and will be present for your session.
6.
Players/Parents will check Orillia MHA website as we will be posting the
commitments using the last 4 digits of the registrants H.C.R. number on our
website.
All Pre-skates and evaluations will occur at Rotary Place.
The
process will include 4 pre-skates:

Sep 2 - 5:15 p.m.
·
Sep 4 - 5:15 p.m.
·
Sep 6 - 12:00 p.m.
·
Sep 7 - 11:45 a.m.
Evaluations/Tryouts
will occur:
·
Sep 9 - 5:15 p.m.
·
Sep 11 - 5:15 p.m.
·
Sep 13 - 12:00 p.m.
Fees:
- Tryout fee - $185 – Includes 4
pre-skates and 3 evaluations (Updated - Aug 19 - Anyone who has paid $285 will be refunded before August 31, 2025)
- Fees:
- If you have already registered for
House League U9MD will be $600 (on top of $800 already paid)
- If you haven’t registered for
House League total fee $1400
