announcement by the Government of Ontario will allow facilities to reopen on January 31, 2022. The
Ontario Hockey Federation has greenlighted a return to hockey. This means that
Orillia Minor Hockey will restart Monday evening January 31 for all Rep, House
League and Mytes games and practices.
Please watch the website closely as the schedule will be updated over the coming week for each of our teams. We are awaiting further clarification from the SMDHU and City of Orillia but we expect facility restriction to be similar to before the Christmas break.
These were as follows:
Players should arrive fully dressed to the extent possible, in order to limit time in the dressing room
Previous proof of vaccination requirements will remain in place for all individuals 12 and over – only Enhanced Vaccination Receipts with a QR code will be accepted
Dressing rooms will be limited to 12 players at Rotary and 8 players at Brian Orser Spectators will be limited to 50% capacity, and all spectators must be physically distanced and masked
Thank you for your patience while we get the schedule reorganized. Please be vigilant in following facility rules so we can remain on the ice for the rest of our season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back and are excited for the players to get to finish their season.
