Orillia Terriers Major Peewee A winners of two in a row
The Mid Ontario Disposal Orillia Terriers Major Peewee “A” Team continued to push ahead in the standings with two more wins in league play.
On the strength of a 5 point game by Will Mullen (3g, 2a), the Terriers beat the visiting Markham Waxers by a score of 5-2. Joining Mullen on the score sheet were Nolan MacNeal and Devin Baxter (1g, 2a) with Meguire Naughton adding 2 assists. Later the same week, in the Terriers first battle against the East Gwillembury Eagles this season, the Terriers leveraged a 3 point night by Owen Vandusen (2g, 1a), Naughton (1g, 2a) and Isabela Fleguel (3a) to roll past the Eagles by a score of 6-2. Joining this trio on the scoresheet were Jesse Ashkewe (1g, 1a), Baxter (1g), MacNeal (1g, 1a), Jack Marwick (2a), Kooper Tucci (1a), and earning both an assist against the Eagles and the two victories in net was Teddy McCollum-Kuntz.
