Orillia Terriers Major Peewee "A" come up short at Jim Wilson Tournament
The Mid Ontario Disposal Orillia Terriers Major Peewee A Team fell short of their goal this past weekend, bowing out of the Jim Wilson Orillia Terriers tournament with a semi-final loss to the Temiskaming Shores Pederson Puckhounds.

The weekend started off well with a 10-2 victory over the neighbouring Oro Thunder with a balanced attack, resulting in 11 different players earning a spot on the scoresheet. Leading the way was Will Mullen with 3 goals followed by Devin Baxter (2g, 1a), Jack Marwick (2g), Carson Bussieres (1g, 1a), Meguire Naughton, (1g, 2a), Kooper Tucci, (1g, 1a), Owen Vandusen (3a), Cole Rasmussen (3a), Isabela Fleguel (2a), Jesse Ashkewe (2a) and Liam MacDonald (1a). The next game was closer and the Terriers had to rely on their defensive game to pull out a 3-2 win over a strong North Toronto team. Mullen lead the team again with 2 goals and an assist with Ashkewe netting the other goal and Marwick, Naughton, Tucci and Baxter each adding an assist. The Terriers then faced a very tough Temiskaming Shores team and were outscored 7-3. Baxter potted a pair of goals and Tucci added a single tally with assists going to Marwick, Vandusen and Naughton. As a result of the round-robin play, the Terriers faced Temiskaming Shores one more time in the Semi-Finals but were only able to register a short-handed marker by Vandusen in the 5-1 defeat. Next, the Terriers will face Barrie and Bradford in Regular League play before travelling to Sudbury for a Silver Stick tournament in December.
